Able Personnel was the vision of Julie Lawrence, Managing Director who started the business in 2004 from a small one man office in Birmingham.

Julie already had over 15 years recruitment experience when she started Able Personnel. Her vision was to focus on providing a dedicated recruitment service, offering clients high quality candidates based on truly understanding the market, culture and needs and never a one-size-fits-all approach.

With a passion for quality and operating with a culture of respect, Able focused on delivering effective recruitment solutions with clear communications to both Client and Candidate. Their reputation and business grew.

Through pure recommendations Clients came back again and again, impressed by the levels of service they received. Candidates felt comfortable working with an agency that really knew its market and recommended colleagues.

Today Able Personnel works with the UK’s leading training providers (some for over 15 years).
